Do you support e-commerce and shopping carts?
Yes typically most e-commerce platforms necessary can be hosted on our technology platform whether linux or windows ASP based. We support mostly linux environments where we can focus on open-source development on LAMP stack for our clients and typically use industry standard e-commerce platforms within our custom projects for clients.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit card via paypal, stripe, or square. Alternative options are also check, direct deposit or wire transfer for domestic or international clientele.
Can I receive a discount for prepaying larger periods?
Yes please speak with our team to find out what discounts you are eligible for. Typically quarterly, annual or longer payment arrangements will be offered discounted rates. When packaged with other services from Emerging Media Partners like investor relations or digital marketing, tech consulting and more the discount will be even steeper.
Where will my server be located?
Multi-geographical locations are offered to our enterprise hosting clients in strategic cities such as Los Angeles and New York for regional importance, but also central locations like Texas or Illinois where ping times can be minimized for traffic coming across the entire country.
This will be further dependent on the technology setup necessary such as dedicated hosting, firewalls, VPS needs, redundancy, proximity to corporate networks and VPN’s and more. Reach out to our technology team to discuss your custom needs further!
How can I start? Do I update my godaddy/domain info?
Upon purchase of a hosting package or the start of a new project with Emerging Media Partners, your account executive will provide you the information needed to update your domain. Often times our team will update everything for you once domain management login information is provided. If we are retained to also secure a domain for you then we can handle everything full service.
Any non-profit discounts?
Yes! We love supporting non-profits and typically will provide discounts on other bundled services as well such as re-branding, multi-channel digital marketing, investor relations and more.
Can you host my e-mail for my entire team as well?
Yes! We can provide unlimited e-mail access for your entire staff regardless of the size. Speak with a customer service representative to determine pricing for your custom needs.
We will say, however, e-mail hosting is not our primary focus area and we typically refer clients to acquiring google apps for their domain for premium e-mail deliverability, team tech support, push mail and more.
